Actions speak louder than words. When your actions are aligned with your intentions, they tell the world who you really are.
Last week I attended my 6th national conference with Silpada Designs, along with almost 3,000 Silpada sisters. They aren’t just fellow representatives, they are called sisters because of the culture of this company, and they absolutely care like real sisters do!

For the past 4 days I was the recipient of an overwhelming amount of acknowledgment! I had NO idea how many people were following and reading my blog. I had NO idea how many were sharing my blog posts with their friends, family and teams. I had NO idea how many of them connected with and found value in my messages. I had NO idea the impact my writing was having on so many people.
Please don’t misinterpret what I’m saying. This is not a ‘shout me out’ message. It’s actually my way of both thanking and recognizing every woman that took the time to acknowledge me. The simple act of offering acknowledgement feeds the soul. It is a gift you give when you take the time to acknowledge someone.

The reality is that we don’t get to experience ourselves the way the world does. Often times, thanks to that little voice in our heads, our interpretation of ourselves isn’t even close to how people perceive us. When someone acknowledges another person, they are being a mirror for them, giving them an opportunity to see an accurate image of themselves.
